Tube & Pipe FAQ
What is the difference between tube and pipe?
Tube is specified by outside dimension and wall thickness and is used for structural and mechanical purposes. Pipe is specified by nominal pipe size and schedule and was originally designed to carry fluids, though it is widely used structurally as well.
Can you bend tube and pipe?
Yes. See our tube and pipe bending service for cutting, mitering, bending and section rolling.
